New Initiative:
Plant the Seeds
The Plant the Seeds initiative is designed to support our member clubs in launching two key programs: Learn the Game Initiative and/or Youth Programming. These programs would be pivotal in introducing the game and providing skills and resources.
Pickleball Ontario has earmarked $35 000 for this initiative. The application is available now and will close on May 31, 2024.
The actual program the clubs wish to run does not have to take place by May 31st. For example, if you are running a youth program in July and August once the children are out of school then it qualifies as long as you register by May 31st. As before we would like you to provide a follow up report once the event has taken place.
Individual members of the clubs are encouraged to bring their ideas to their club directors to see if it is something that can be done.
